DAFT Forms: Which IND Pages Do I Fill Out?
DAFT-only page finder for the IND paper packet.

One of the most common DAFT questions is: “Which pages of the IND forms do I actually need to fill out?”
The answer depends on who is applying and who is signing the form: the main DAFT entrepreneur, a spouse or partner, a child, or a family member with an MVV or custody edge case.
This guide is intentionally DAFT-only. It is not a normal family-sponsorship route guide. It keeps the packet anchored to the DAFT paper forms people actually use for this process: 7524 for the main DAFT applicant, 7518 for sponsor-side family packets, 7525 for foreign-national/self-signed family packets and children, and 7675 for the sanctions appendix.
Important: This tool does not replace reading the forms. The IND forms themselves decide what is required. This page exists because people often print too much, skip appendices, confuse 7524 with 7675, or miss the sponsor declaration hiding near the end of the PDF.

Before you use the tool: 7518 vs 7525
For DAFT families, the confusing part is not the main DAFT applicant. The confusing part is the family packet.
Use 7518 when the DAFT applicant is acting as the sponsor and submitting the family-member packet on the family member’s behalf. This is the common DAFT spouse/partner sponsor-side packet.
Use 7525 when the family member is signing/submitting as the foreign national, when you are filing for a minor child as legal representative, or when IND specifically tells the family member to sign the foreign-national form.
Rule of thumb: 7518 is the sponsor-side form. 7525 is the foreign-national / child form. This article does not route you to the normal non-DAFT sponsor forms.

The civic-integration / MVV piece, in plain English
Some people see the Civic integration examination abroad appendix and assume every spouse needs it. That is not right.
For a clearly MVV-exempt DAFT family member, you normally do not fill out the civic-integration appendix. It becomes relevant when a partner or family member needs an MVV or is trying to claim an MVV/civic-integration exemption.
For DAFT families, the important detail is that the current IND civic-integration appendix lists exemptions for a foreign national who wants to stay for a temporary purpose, and for a foreign national who wants to stay with a family member who has a temporary purpose of stay. Work as a self-employed person is listed as a temporary purpose. That is why the tool only adds those pages when you select an MVV issue.
Practical rule: Do not print the civic-integration appendix for a routine U.S. spouse/child DAFT packet. Do review it if a family member is not clearly MVV-exempt, and verify the exact route before submitting. Children under 18 are not treated as needing the civic integration exam; the relevant question for them is usually MVV route/exemption and custody evidence.
How to read the page ranges
When this tool says “pages 1–16,” that means the PDF page number in the print dialog, not the tiny footer number printed on the page. Some PDFs have cover pages, instructions, blank pages, and appendices. Use the print-dialog page range.
Pages to fill / submit
These are pages where you normally enter applicant, sponsor, antecedents, signing, or appendix information for the DAFT packet.
Pages to review only
Some IND appendices say “Do not enclose this appendix.” They are instruction pages. Use them to identify evidence, but do not submit the instruction appendix unless IND or a qualified adviser tells you to.
Evidence is separate
A page range is not the whole application. You still need evidence: passport copies, relationship documents, birth certificates, custody/consent documents, KvK/capital evidence, and any required translations/legalizations.
Common DAFT form mistakes
Mistake 1: calling 7675 the main DAFT form
The main DAFT entrepreneur form is 7524. Form 7675 is only the sanctions appendix. In the current 7524 PDF, the sanctions appendix is embedded near the end of the file.
Mistake 2: missing the sponsor declaration
For partner/child packets, the sponsor declaration is easy to miss because it appears near the end of the PDF. In current 7518 it is pages 53–54; in current 7525 it is pages 55–56.
Mistake 3: submitting proof-of-income instruction pages
The proof-of-income appendices in 7518 and 7525 are important because they include the DAFT substantial-capital evidence line. But the appendix itself says “Do not enclose this appendix with the form.” Read it, follow the evidence instruction, and submit the evidence — not the instruction pages — unless IND specifically asks for them.
Mistake 4: treating every child the same
Children under 12, children 12–14, and children 15–17 do not have identical appendix needs. The antecedents certificate becomes relevant at 12+, and the civil-status declaration becomes relevant at 15+.
Mistake 5: ignoring who must sign
If the sponsor is submitting, you are in sponsor-form territory. If the family member is signing for themselves, you are in foreign-national-form territory. If it is a minor child, pay close attention to legal representative and parental authority/consent evidence.
