Depending on the activity, DAFThub may rely on contract, legitimate interests, legal obligation, or consent as the legal basis for processing.

4. Sharing with processors and third parties

DAFThub may use third-party Service Providers for hosting, email, payments, analytics, automation, support, DAFThub Directory tooling, and security. Data is shared only to the extent needed for those services, subject to appropriate contractual protections. DAFThub may also disclose data if required by law, to protect legal rights, or in connection with a business transfer.

Personal data is kept only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected for, or longer where tax, accounting, fraud-prevention, dispute, or regulatory obligations require retention. Different categories of data may therefore have different retention periods.

6. Security

DAFThub uses reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal data, but no system can guarantee absolute security. Users should also protect their own account credentials and avoid sharing sensitive information unless it is actually required.

Privacy rights can vary by location and by the legal basis used for processing, but DAFThub should still give people a straightforward way to ask questions or exercise their rights.

Access, correction, deletion, and portability

You may request access to your data, ask for inaccurate information to be corrected, request deletion where applicable, ask for restricted processing, object to certain processing, or request portability where the law provides that right.
